Euler's Game II

This variant takes the original Euler’s Game a few steps further. With a brand-new spiral, a larger army of pieces, and stronger royals, this variant improves the original.

The grasshoppers help give easy checks to your opponent.

The wildebeest make it harder for opponents' royal rooks to move to the hill.

The archbishops act as knights, except, surprise! The goal of these is to make opponents underestimate their power and wonder why they can't move their royal rooks down a particular bend in the spiral.

The rook and queen are there to get out of the way - but what if a player tried moving one down the spiral with the royal rook?

The royal rook is, well, a ROYAL rook.

The wazirs make your opponents' rook and queen block the first gate to the hill.

The generals and chancellors are for capturing.

The ferzes guard the hill.

A few things to watch out for:

You can rely on your opponents to make an easy path to the hill, but would it really be easy? My best tip is to partially rely on this.

The grasshopper can give an easy check in the beginning, but it will then probably get captured immediately.

Cleaning out your opponents' pieces and trapping their rooks is recommended.

Checking during the endgame is also recommended.
