Stereo Madness
Lobotomy Madness + Quality - Lobotomy - Plagarism = Stereo Madness, named after the first main level of Geometry Dash.
#1 | I am currently remaking every single official lobotomy variant but without Lobotomy. Additionally, I would put more effort in these variants compared to the lobotomised ones.
In this variant, each player’s goal is to deliver four checks to their opponent’s king or checkmate their opponent in order to win. Both players start by exchanging pawns and knights strategically, aiming to gain a safe position. Knights are useful for delivering early checks, while pawns can promote to powerful pieces, like amazons, relatively quickly. Sacrificing knights can also be a tactic to eliminate opposing sergeants and soldiers, preventing them from promoting. Kings have the option to castle, which not only develops a rook but also moves the king to a safer position. Sergeants, with their ability to move two squares, are flexible and have a strong chance to promote even in endgames. As the board opens up, rooks can enter the battle to increase pressure and assist in delivering checks. The first player to deliver four checks wins the game. I hope this gets accepted, as I believe this is one of the most strategic and tactical variants that I have made throughout this year.
