The Caravan
Use your chariots to your fullest.
Before the strategies of this variant, I would like to point out Tuo means camel in chinese (i think).
This is a SEQUEL to Chye and Megathief's variants, but I deemed it quite different, thus I did not find the need to get permission.
This is a unique variant, there are 7 freeze spells per player and you need to induce your opponent spell usage, either mate whilst using spells using crazyhouse pieces or if your opponent's spells run out, you can freeze spell his king and mate too. the ONE jump spell is meant for the rook to jump over a piece to capture the king.
This is not meant to imitate chinese chess in any way, thus the gameplay is quite different. the camels work out surprisingly well, as there are very few squares the camel can govern to give threats, so you need your chariots to support such attacks.
Oh yeah, I wanted to make the rooks chariots, but after taking one and putting it back in the crazyhouse, it appears as a normal rook, so that's the reason why the rooks are not chariots.
Crazyhouse tactics are possible but all of them are quite noticeable. The main pieces you can use for such tactics are the sergeant and the camels. For sergeant pawm promotioon tactics, there are 2 rooks in the second rank, so uhless both are vacant/your opponent has 2 or more sergeants, it is blockable but not ignorable. For camel forks, camels are a colorblind piece, so the fork threats should be relatively easy to see.
May the odds be in my favor.
