Play mostly defenive, but attack when you need.
I really don't have much to say about this variant, you can either place a piece or move a piece, pawn pushing is a choice, but as long as if you have pawns on your side to en passant, should not be a problem.

This actually reminds me of something I used to prsctice called a pawn game, where its just a king and eight pawns
