Land of Queens
Play a sharp hill game with 3 queens on your side.
For the hill rush, it is not viable in the slightest in the opening nor middlegame with 7 check, and in some of my testing games even in endgames hill rush was punished.
Some main strategies is to launch a brute force attack, use the snipers on your side to eliminate the other side's pieces, and place the extra queen wherever you want.
There is a strategic difference between normal chess and 'upgraded' chess, being with a bigger board, the pieces are easier to snipe, and king safety being harder to guarantee.
The unique thing that this variant brings to the table is that there are a lot of heavy pieces, so a good attack and defense is VERY easy, but if you do not keep this balance, you can get checkmated in a flash. I used +10 since games can stall out even if one player is below, and with +10 and the values of those pieces that cannot happen. In the middlegame/endgame, promoting a piece is also a good idea, since with a 1 point queen you can take the other side's let's say, archbishop with little worry of points.
