Strategy red. Ignore blue's amazon checks and try to get to the hill before green does.
Strategy blue: Check red with your amazon while green moves his royal general to the hill.
Strategy green: While blue checks with his amazon, move your royal general to the hill.
Note: For blue, there are actually two ways to get to the hill. The other way is to race generals with your partner.

In recent times the definition of WoF has definitely changed, but one thing to keep in mind is that good WoFs can still have the WoF feel without randomness, and they utilize time pressure, board size, etc., to keep it interesting.
Eh, since WoFs were made rated that sort of randomness should generally be avoided a bit more than before. Obviously nobody should put too much thought into that rating, but that's still something to keep in mind.
