Description (if needed): Navigate the tactical complexities of a mini board in order to force your opponent to demolish your varied army.
Comments:
Thanks VishTheFish771 for suggesting the title!
This is Pocket Chess; the challenge was irresistible to try.
The time control of 15|3D makes the game fast paced but still allows for sufficient time for fast calculation of the position. It also adds to the WOF character as full calculation of the tactical possibilities are impossible with this time control.
This variant was inspired by the complexities of regular Giveaway, but here, I have amplified the complexities by doing the following:
Sideways Rule: Enables more flexible ways to force a capture sequence.
Varied pieces: The long range rook and bishop make the game more tactical, while the U, sergeant, S, and king provide variation in giveaway strategies.
Promotion rank: Oh yeah, this. Because the pawns are two moves away from promoting, one player can meet a line-opening of another player by promoting. The promoting choices add to the tactical complexity as, frequently, different situations require different promotions in order to gain an advantage or win directly.
I hope there are no forced wins in this variant.

And a later version of the variant:
