No Way Back

Another small project before the big one.

Each players needs to place 7 hors onto the board. After the setup, players can either stalemate or try getting their opponent bare pieced to win.

In test games, strategies I used were capturing the opponents' stalemated pieces or jump my hors to the corners. Interesting stalemate positions are shown in the games.

Fun fact: The original board was 8x8 and there was a hill. That version was eliminated due to hill-rushing.
