Invade the light squares and free the dark squares !
Invade the light squares because they are weak
Free the dark squares because they block the pawns which have an early promotion to an amazon.
And be careful not to blunder mate by letting d3 or f3 (d6 or f6) unprotected.
The soldiers are worth a lot because of their early promotion. So sacrificing the rook for a pawn is very often good

I guess starting with amazons on the promotion squares would make the variant a mate in 1 if I left everything else unchanged
